    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Argentinean police on Thursday arrested four people suspected of using iguanas to traffic drugs.

The four reptiles were found in a cardboard box at an apartment in the region of Isidro Casanova, a shanty town on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

Police also found seven kilograms of marijuana along with 200 grams of cocaine as well as an undisclosed amount of Argentine pesos.

It's thought the iguanas were used because, as with most reptiles, they do not chew their food before swallowing. (AP)

Apparently there were using tegu lizards to transport drugs in Argentina. The news said iguanas{/QUOTE]

They showed the animals in the box, and they were obviously large black and white tupinambis teguixin.

That sucks

You never ever hear of a reptile doing anything good, now they are used for drug trafficking.
Reptiles really have it bad.
 
Not only that, but you can imagine the fate of those tegus once they arrrive to destination. They will probably end up cut sliced open and thrown away in the garbage.
