Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ive always wanted a brazil rainbow but i recently fell in love with a jungle carpet. The turn off with the jungle is that I hear there real nasty and snappy and im in to worryless handleing.The turn off with the brazil rainbow is the high humidity needs.....
Suggestions please keep in mind a very tame snake is extremely important to me.....
I do have experience ive had a florida king, a ball, and the tamest red tail in the world.....
 
I dont think it's fair to classify all JCPs as snappy monsters. I know several BRB owners who have the same to say about theirs. Each snake has it's own "personality" so one cant really generalize.

Carpet babies (and BRB) can be snappy when young, but usually can mellow out with age and handling. Personally, I've looked at both and think they're gorgeous snakes..I just dont know if I have the time to keep up with the husbandry requirements for the BRB. I like it simple :) That's why I have a BP!

Cant go wrong with either..personally, I'd go with the JCP. Actually, I'd go for it's close relative, the Irian Jaya Carpet Python..gorgeous beyond words if you get a nice specimen!
 
get them both i say ..BRB's in my opion isnt much more to care for then any large snake they just need diffrent things such as humidity once you get that right its all good form there never had a jungle so couldn't say anything about them .so i still say get them both
 
Thanks alot for the replies i sent a 50$ deposit to bob clark yesterday he's actually holding both for me but i can only get one i have to decide by then...
