    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is the garter snake I caught last week. I'm still not sure whether it's a boy or a girl. Can anybody help? I know probbing is the most accurate way to tell, but there's no place to get it probbed around here. And I don't know anyone who owns snakes.

I could be totally backwards on this one.. but i thought males had the longer tail so they can wrap around the female to mate.. So id say "its" a little "fella"!! did you get a name yet??

I counted the scales below the vent and I got 64 pairs. I dont know if this is any help. And the snake is a little over 2 ft in length.

No, I didn't name it yet. I wanted to wait till i find out whether it's a boy or a girl. I thought about giving it a neutral name, but I couldn't think of any good ones.
