    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He was purchased from a private breeder and was sold to me as a Giant (not a Super Giant.) He is 10" long and his current weight @ 7pm CST (unfed) is 76.4 grams. Weight above was taken at 1 week after his purchase and my deciding that I was not going to be breeding leos. He's gained weight since he's been in my care.

I'm still open for offers or trades. I have no interest in breeding the leos, although I am enjoying them as pets. If you make it to the Midwest Reptile Breeder’s Expo which will be held @ the Kansas City Airport Hilton on September 17th, I’m planning on being a vendor, and you can see him in person.

not giant

you said he was three years old a male giant giant will reach at least 90 grams by 1 year. don't beleive me got to ron trempers site and look at giant faq

I'm only going by what was told to me by the seller. I certainly don't specialize in leos, nor did I claim to be a specialist. So, checking The Herpetoculture of Leopard Geckos by Vosjoli & Tremper it states:

'Giant' Genetically predisposed to be large in size. Due to the co-domiance of this trait two size classes occur - 'Giant' and 'Super Giant'. In both the het and homozygous condition, 'Giant' males will reach 80-110 grmas and females 60-90 grams by one year of age. 'Super Giant' males will exceed 110 grams and females will surpass 90 grams by one year of age. They will continue to growing to reach sizes of 100+ (females) grams - 150+ (males) grams. This trait can be combined with any pattern morph or color morph to generate giants of those morphs.

The male has continued to gain weight since I purchased him, and I'm still seeing weight gain, so fully expect him to keep growing. However, should he not gain any more weight and remain at his current 76.4 grams, then I guess I purchased a Giant that's not. He can still sire larger babies, and his past hatchlings all have had the jungle pattern.

I think he's a nice gecko, and he has an awesome personality, he's just not for me. :)
