    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi Kisha! Any update on Zeke??

Hi Sherri, you and I must be on the same wavelength because I was just about to post an update, after I checked the new posts of the day. He is doing well! He had a shed and has been eating more. I'm giving him some time before I weigh him to see if he is putting on weight, but he looks good. He spends a lot of time in his water bowl which he never did before. I wonder if part of the difficulty has to do with more extreme environmental requirements required by this sub-species? He is going to be in his little plastic box for a while, though because I don't have room for another big enclosure. I am looking forward to trading so I can start working on getting these guys to breed. I love a challenge! By the way I was going to tell you that this pair of twins was captive bred by a woman I know in Florida who keeps her groups outside most of the year. We might look at the weather data in her area, since she was able to breed her pairs. Maybe if we can reproduce those conditions, we might have more success? I know I work hard for humidity and heat that I have during the winter months, but I think I'm up to the task. Anyway, thanks for asking and all of your advice it seems to be helping.

We are in for a rainy 4th, hope yours is drier.

Kisha

Hello Kisha,

This is Brian.

We've been having problems with our antiquated computer. Sherri has received a severe arm injury which took precedence to writing you back- to which we apologize.

I personally estabished the Southern Florida Corucia Research Center (SFCRC) in 1999. I had over 50 Corucia housed outdoors over 9 months of the year. The SFCRC was located in Wellington, Florida (Western Palm Beach County). I had over 20 successfull births without a single loss. I could be wrong but I do believe a more natural setting indicative of natural rainshowers, natural breezes, natural humidity variances, and natural temperature flucuations creates an enrichment which induces breeding. lndeed, Corucia at the SFCRC, would engage in breeding primarily in May after the humidity would spike in South Florida. In approximately 7.5 months later, Corucia would give birth. I have witnessed enhanced excitement after a natural rainshower. In addition to breeding, Corucia also have a tendency to 'drop balast' in the way of defecating as well.

Sherri concurs. We need to communicate off the forum in regards to any possible trades. We both hope that Zeke has a speedy recovery and is still continuing to flourish in quarantine. Good luck and keep us posted.

Sincerely,
Brian-LCRC
