    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I live in central California, and my snake collection has grown to the point where purchasing frozen rodents in bulk would be the most economical. I've heard some horror stories, that ended up in sick snakes etc. so I've been a bit hesitant. Who would you guys recommend?

Alice,

I have always used Rodentpro. Their prices are very good and I have never had any trouble with the mice/rats. You can also purchase quail, chicks, guinea pigs and rabbits through them. The product is always package very well with dry ice keeping everything frozen. Go to their site and check out the prices for yourself. www.rodentpro.com

2 companies...

I've used "The Mouse Factory" and "Rodent Pro" with full confidence. Rodent Pro is a bit cheaper, but they don't vacuum pack the rodents and it takes a week to get them. The Mouse Factory vacuum packs everything and can ship overnight if you want. Plus, the rodents from The Mouse Factory just plain look better. But, my snakes like either one and I've never had a problem with shipping...they both arrive still very well frozen.

Big Cheese Rodent Factory

i have found there feeders to be of top quality,they vacuum package,there prices are as good as can be found and they use two day shipping which is very econmical.i should mention customer service is great.have fun! TWH

I have tried both Big Cheese and Rodentpro, and I prefer Big Cheese hands down. Depending on how many you are looking at buying, you can get somewhat smaller "lots" at just as good of prices as Rodentpro, and the rodents always arrive frozen solid, well packed, clean, and whole. Darn nice people to deal with as well. I've never had a problem getting what I want when I want it from Big Cheese either, whereas it seems there can be an awful long wait at times from Rodentpro.
