    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi, I had a veiled chameleon years ago, and would like another one , BUT i've recently started hearing about fishers chameleons..... can any one tell me the major differences?.. I am looking for something a bit tractable, and possibly handlable, as I have kids.....

Fischers are a mountain species therefore dont require the same heat as vields. Like mid to low 80's during the day to low 70's at night. Most are wc so they are skittish (like any cham) but they arent aggressive like veilds can be. They will on occasion hiss or open their mouth but it is all bark no bite. If you get one really hydrate it heavy right when you get it. Overall they are a great species and arent too difficult to keep. I trained my wc to eat from my hand the first week. My so cal climate makes it very easy to keep them.
