    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i will be in sanderson tx area from sept 18th till sept 29th. i have the motel reserved. leaving kansas city around 6 pm the 17th with a stop somewhere along the way sunday night and driving in on monday. anyone interested in going and splitting expenses drop me an e mail at [email protected] . i have a 4 door dodge truck and am looking to get 2 or 3 total riders for the 2 weeks. we will be staying at the www.outbackoasismotel.com

You don't ring a bell

in name but........your trip is almost on the late side of expectation of finding much due to temps. You ARE going to hit some of the lunar black out but not all. The temps are already down in the 60ties in mountains and heading for cooler. They have had some rain down there recently but not as much in the Sanderson, Dryden. Langtry, Juno area. 277 north of Del Rio has had some. I don't really know your target area or target herp.

We are heading down this weekend and will be in the western part as I am a western fan of the Big Bend, Davis, and 118 and i guess throw in Black Gap.

I'm sure Roy at Outback will be glad to see you all with that date because things have been slow due to the severe hot temps and dryness plus the whole tourism thing off due to gas prices.

But if it is a matter of time off to go...what else can you do ? If you are going west, the whole area of alpine and south is offering discounts now and later. Oops ! You have a Chili-cook off in Sept. at Terlingua. forget the discounts and even maybe finding a place to stay out west of Sanderson. LOL !
