OK, I know that frogs amplex and as the female lays her eggs, the male fertiles them at that time. But if that's the case then I guess my eggs aren't any good.... I had a pair of african clawed frogs together and they were amplexing constantly. Then the male escaped from their enclosure, not to be found. Now, yesterday, my female laid eggs... I have never seen fertile frog eggs before so I don't know what they look like, but these are white and seem to have like a nucleius in them... My question is.. Is there any possible way for a female frog to retain sperm so that these eggs would be fertile?
