    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Trader Rating

It was given at 4:30 this morning from spokanelizardlady. I am guessing it was because of the discussion in a BOI of them and they didn't like what I had to say, I will definately keep my eyes open to see if it posts. Thanks again! Denise
 
First off, only paying members can use the Traders Ratings feedback function. So that tends to limit the amount of abuse the system will be subjected to.

Secondly, if feedback IS posted, it remains.

Sorry, but I cannot place myself (much less have any desire to do so) in the position of having to judge who is telling the truth in matters such as this.
 
Denise, was this an actual trader rating, or was it just "karma"? I don't see any trader rating registered for you.
 
It was not meant to be slanderous or anything else. I was just explaining the situation, I apologize if it sounded that way....this is the PM I recieved this morning.

Hm, that's weird. I'm assuming it didn't show up since you do not have a paid membership, but it looks like Wendy is trying to play dirty and leave you a bad rating, even though you have never done business with her.

I knew you didn't mean anything bad by your post, but I thought it strange that you said that she had left you one, and it shows none on your profile. I would have questioned it as well had I been in your shoes. ;)
 
Thanks Cathy....It is such things like this that make me want to stay just a member....but I have all intentions of becoming at least a paid participant here shortly. So basically Rich is saying that if she left me a bad rating that there is nothing that can be done to change that even if I had never done business with her? That doesn't seem quite fair. I pride myself on making my sales right no matter what and have a good reputation, I would hate to see that damaged by someone just being spiteful.

You would be asking me to take sides. In other words, one would be lying and I would be asked to chose which one. Can you PROVE she has never done business with you? Remember please, that I am not psychic and cannot read people's minds in order to be able to tell who is telling the truth or not. Which is exactly what you would be asking me to do. Then multiply that task by all the members on this site to whom I would have to extend that same service.

And for the record, I don't believe you have to be a paid member in order to RECEIVE a traders rating. You only have to be one in order to APPLY a rating to someone else. At least that was not in the specs that I gave to my programmer. :shrug01:
 
Denise, She might have hit you by accident or changed her mind. I know the system gives you a chance to edit the trader rating you give to someone for a short time after. It seems she was on an early morning tear this morning.

Thanks Dennis....I sure hope she changed her mind because I never bought or sold anything to her at all. This is totally nuts!
