    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a 6 to 7 foot long female normal redtail boa up for adoption. You *must* have expereince with large boas in order to adopt her. You also must be 18 or over. I will not adopt her out to anyone under 18 or to anyone who has not had experience with snakes her size.

I got her from a friend of mine recently that was getting married and his new wife would not "let" him keep the snake. I have kept it for a few weeks now to insure that it is eating and healthy. She currently feeds on thawed frozen or pre-killed food, she will take small rabbits, guinea pigs or giant rats. She has been feeding for me very well. She appears to be very healthy. He had her for about 3 years and never had any health problems with her. She is a very pretty snake, although she is just a normal redtail. She does have some nice color to her sides, but like I said, she is just a normal. Her former owner said she was probed by his reptile vet and is definitely female; however, I have not probed her myself. In my opinion she shoudl put on some weight prior to being bred. She has never been bred, but I believe she would be an excellent bredder for someone who needed a large, breeding sized female.

Her only drawback is that she can sometimes be snappy when she is hungry. She does have a feeding response when you reach into her enclosure. I am very careful, so she has not yet bit me; however, she did bite her former owner a few times when he reached into her enclosure. However, once she is out of her enclosure she is very calm and easy to handle.

I am requiring a $75.00 adoption fee (her enclosure is not included). Local pickup if definitely preferred. I can meet within a 40 mile radius or so of Saint Marys, GA 31558 (I am about 40 miles from Jacksonville, FL and 35 miles south of Brunswick, GA). I prefer not to ship her, but will if someone is serious. However, please note that shipping will be around $75 (or more depending on where you live) due to her weight. I will only ship via FedEx Priority Overnight and only to the continental USA. I can only guarantee live arrival to area which are 50 degrees or above en route.

I do not currently have any photos, but can take some soon if needed.

You can e-mail me directly at: [email protected]

Thanks for the responses thusfar, have had several responses, but no one who seems serious yet.

I have LOWERED the adoption fee for her from $75.00 to $60.00.

ADOPTED !!! Thanks for all of your inquiries !!!
