    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a 3 foot long male normal redtail boa for adoption. He is very healthy. He is currently feeding on thawed frozen small to medium sized rats, 2 or 3 a week. He has a strong feeding response and also has bitten while outside his enclosure. He needs someone who can work with him to tame him down some.

I only recently aquired him from a friend who could not keep him because his new wife did not want him to have snakes. I have kept him for a bout a month since I got him in order to be sure he is feeding well and healthy. He is feeding well and is apparently very healthy. I have handled him carefully and have not yet been bitten, but the man who owned him before was bitten by him several times. I do believe that with careful and frequent handling he would tame down very quickly, he mainly just seems afraid of humans since the man I got him from only rarely tried to handle him.

I am requesting a $50.00 adoption fee for him. I prefer local pickup. However, I will ship if necessary. Shipping will be around $50.00 or so depending on where you live. I will only ship via FedEx Priority Overnight. I also can only guarantee live arrival to where temps are 50 degrees or higher en route. I would be happy to meet within about 40 miles of where I live in Saint Marys, GA 31558 (I am about half way between Jacksonville, FL and Brunswick, GA right off of I-95).

Please respond only if you have experience working with snakes who are somewhat aggressive. I will only adopt out to someon 18 or older who has some experience handling snakes.

I do not have any photos at this time, but can take some if necessary.

Please e-mail me with questions: [email protected]

Thanks for the responses thusfar, have had several responses, but no one who seems serious yet.

I have LOWERED the adoption fee for him from $50.00 to $35.00.
