    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Posted in the want ads forum, but thought I should put something here as well.

I have 2.1 Cza's (an elderly pair and their 1-year-old male offspring), and am seeking one (or more!) females of a breedable age to preserve this distinct subspecies. My adult female may be too old to produce any more young.

If you have any you might be willing to sell, trade, or even loan, please contact me.

Just out of curiousity, how old is your female that you think is too old to breed? josh

I do not know how old the mother, Shakti, is -- I am making my assessment based on her apparent condition and behavior: she just looks and acts like an old girl. I was told they were long-term captives when I bought them two-and-a-half years ago. And I have a friend who swears this is the same trio he babysat about 10 or 12 years before that, which (if true) would put her age at at least 16-18 (or more)... The other female in the trio (Kali) has been frail since I got her, and has not reproduced. I have had to nurse her through a couple of illnesses, and I am fairly certain she is VERY old. (In fact, I will be surprised if she survives this winter). But she is very sweet -- when she isn't guarding the youngster! :)
