    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a 22 month old male doby, akc, pick of litter, perfect temperment etc that's free to the right home. We are expecting and just cannot devote the time he deserves. Rocky is an amazing dog and deserves better then what we can give him.

I already have 3 dogs so I cannot, but I wish you luck finding him a forever home!!...and of course congrats on the expected new addition!! :)
I will keep him in mind if I hear of anyone looking for a new doggie.

I would take him in a heartbeat Griz, but our town has restrictions on Doby, pitbull, rott and german sheps. Damn narrow-minded people!!!!

Awwww Griz, I wish I could take him...Dobes are one of my many "soft spots", lol. Best of luck finding him a great home.

And Bill....I ain't even gonna get started on the town laws here....I didn't, however, know that GSD were included in the ban!!! Morons.

Ohhhhh!!! I lost my girl Sadie to a diabetic crash 2 years ago. She was also pick of the litter and her father was a grand champion. Sadie was aonly 7 years old and the best dog that I ever had! Bry said that I can get another one when we are settled..........

C'mon Laura, this gives you a great chance to swing by Illinois on your drive to Georgia and pick him up! I realize your not settled but then again, he's not just any dog. He'll keep you plenty company on that long drive! Let me know.

More than you think, I am in Lake Mills. Like Cathy stated, small towns are run by a few people and could really care less what other people want. :ack2:

Again, Iowa has more breed bans than ANY OTHER STATE in the country. Ohio was worse, but someone came to their senses and the state legislature declared breed-specific bans unconstitutional. Do some digging, and you will find that many of the cities that enact breed bans also figure that they should cover their butts against "other dangerous animals" and also cover exotics as well.

FYI....Des Moines has BSL as well......

Griz, I would take him in a heart beat if you weren't too far away... OR, if you have any ideas... *wink wink*
