    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi all, :confused:

Stupid question.. How do you put a bearded dragon down 4 brumation? Isnt it the same thing as sleeping? If so do you turn off their lights and keep it off for a few weeks? :shrug01:

AND: my friend uses calci sand and has 2 beautiful bloods that he doesnt care about impaction or not and im scared for them.

Any suggestions (for calci sand) , besides IMPACTION, that might make him change his mind about using it?
1MORE thing IS IT OK TO USE THE REPTI-BARK (the tiny pieces)

THANKS 4 YOUR TIME, BRIAN JANES

reptibark is awesome i used it for years but it dosent have one downfall and that is that after a while from the dragons running on it it turns into a red dust all over your room then eventually turns ur dragons like a dirty look to them.

Hi Brian, I used calci sand when I first got my dragons, I liked the color, unfortunately, the colored sand stains the dragons. it took a few sheds to get back to their real color. I have been using play sand and have had no problems at all. ansd its easy to keep clean. As far as brumation, it can be done by reducing the hours of light, as if the season are changing, or if you want them to breed it may be enough to just lower the temp. a few degrees for a few days and then warm it up again.
