The BoidSmith said:They really look nice Bill! It's going to be really hard to use them as feeders. Did you get any suggestions as far as feeding goes? Just our regular rodent feeding scheme?
Regards.

Is the texture different that the rats we are used to here? Is soft furred actually soft?
I love cute food!
I must have some of those after our move!

Ed Clark said:Bill, Good luck with these! I have been breeding these for awhile now and warn you that you will learn to hate them. HAHAHA![]()
What is the advantage of these over lab type rodents? Do they get bigger, grow faster or have more babies?
Thanks

Ed Clark said:Kevin, the advantage is that stubborn feeders will eat these, even after turning up their noses at every other rodent you can think of. these little critters are very destructive and will bite the crap out of you. as Bill mentioned something for them to chew on is important. less odor is a side benefit with these guys!![]()

Fed 42 out this morning - 41 ate - one snake is in shed.
Now, how did you get them to hold still to get such a clear picture? LOL.
