    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am looking for a baby red tail boa for sale. Must be tame and a good eater. I was looking to pay around $75 for the snake shipped to 44131. If you can help me, email me at [email protected]

75 shipped or 75 plus shipping? Finding a healthy redtail for 75 shipped is difficult if not impossible. I suggest upping your total price for realistic results.

well, i said around. I can pay a little more. That is what i am looking for shipped. I have seen offers of $80 shipped before. I am just trying to find the cheapest one that I can. If you can find anyone that could help that would be great.

The cheapest price I've seen on a normal breeder selling for profit (not for other reasons such as moving out and making room for babies) is $75 plus shipping. I recently acquired a boa for 80 shipped only because the seller needed to move him out quickly. Just a question, why are you looking for the cheapest one possible?

well you get what i mean. I just want to find the cheapest one possible. I want it to be docile and a good eater. I am not a breeder or anything. I just want a new pet.

You can look around kingsnake and fauna but it might be a while before you find one that cheap. I think you should at least up your price to 100 shipped. That is at least negotiable.

i am sure he knows that most people want 80 - 150 but his question is can someone get him one for 75 not so hard to understand and no its not unheard of to get red tails for 75 two pet shops here in knoxville have them for 70-85 so i am sure you will find one in the price range you are looking for just keep looking also good luck and have a good day

$75 dollar boas are not unheard of. However, searching the net for an animal that has to be shipped will be difficult.Average shipping for neonate boas for me averaged 42 dollars last year, without heat or cold packs, and making my own boxes, so the snake would have to be around 30 dollars).
To set up a boa for minimum requirements can run 300 dollars or more.
I know of several people, myself included, who GIVE boas away. However, If I am going to give a boa away I would need to be assured that the animal has everything it requires in advance. Call me crazy, but I feel that pricing my boas higher encourages a potential buyer to think a little bit harder about the purchase. If they spend 200 dollars on a snake as opposed to 20 they are more likely to take better care of it to insure that they get their moneys worth. Someone who skimps on the price of a snake, may skimp on areas such as caging, food, medical attention and care in general.

Depending on where you are in Ohio, you might want to head over to the AllOhioReptile show this coming Saturday the 10th....you might just find what you are looking for without shipping. The weather is not warm enough to ship safely here right now anyways. School has been out the past two days for below zero temps :ack2: .
Last show I went to here I saw the most beautiful hog island boa and she was sweet and tame and clean and only $75. Good luck! ;)
