Vitamins for snakes??

Can reptiles consume vitamins in pill form? Like, putting a "pill" in a rat/mouse and feeding it to the snake. I have heard that vitamin c helps prevent all types of sickness and diseases in reptiles. What about garlic? Garlic is good for the immune and respitory system. Calcium? If anybody knows more about this please let me know. Thanks!

In a word - No. DO NOT use human multivitamins in reptiles. It can kill them. Use a supplement formulated for reptiles, such as reptical or herptivite.
