I was just wanting to know if I'm the only one that hates reading ads with no price list. I just don't see no reason to bother someone for a price of what they have for sale. If they really want to sell thier animals I think they would put the price with the ad. Webslave doesn't charge anyone per word on here so post complete ads. Just what I think .

When I look at an add that does not have a price listed, I NEVER call or look further for info on the animal. Just my opinion.

I do the same. Unless the animal is something I really want.

I just think that it shows that they are not sure what to ask for the animal and they either dont know what they are doing or they have no confidence that the animal is worth the asking price, also sometimes the animal posted is not really for sale and the person posting just wants to see how much they can get for the animal.

I couldnt agree more, that is the most annoying thing out there. spam_Worse yet, when you contact them and ask what they are asking for the animal, they turn around and say make me an offer! spam_I mean, do you want to sell this thing or NOT! LOL. spam_And its not just folks who dont know how much to ask either. spam_A few "big" name guys out there do the same thing just because they can. spam_Im glad I'm not the only one annoyed by that. spam_Mike

It gets even better!!!  How about the Email auction.  And currently right now the current bid on this beautiful Bearded Dragon is $675.  Email me with bids over this one and I'll post the highest bid on my website tomorrow.
COME ON, are there really idiots you buy this!!!!

I know what you mean about people saying give me an offer, Because heck if I could buy the animal for the price of shipping I would. LOL &nbsp; Then when you give them a low amount, just around wholsale they act as if you just insulted them. I know everone selling something has some idea of what they want to recieve. So why the heck don't they just post it. I've had people email me and ask if they &nbsp;can have somthing I'm selling for less. Then you can dicker or say no. I guess what I'm trying to say is speak up if you want your animals to sell. Many times when posting for sale ads I will put &quot;make me an offer&quot;. &nbsp;I do this to basically to make sure the person must email or call me and I can talk shop with them. &nbsp;I like to know where my animals go and ask some questions about the person's experience with the particular animals. &nbsp;I have had a few occasions of which someone will Pay Pal me funds in answer to say 'yes' I want that animal, if they dont know the price and they are interested in the animal I have to offer, they can just e mail me or call me anytime. &nbsp;I will admit I like to see prices up front when i'm shopping for a particular animal but if it says make an offer and I want that animal, I do so and await a reply, no worries either way. &nbsp; &nbsp; Mike

Mike or Erica (whomever is posting)

Seems like I'm following you tonight but since you mentioned paypal, I have a question about it. &nbsp;I have never used it but it sounds like (from your post) I can read an add for an animal for sale and paypal the money immediatly without even contacting the seller. &nbsp; Not a smart thing to do I might add but can it be done. &nbsp;I was under the impression that you needed a paypal account #. &nbsp;wouldn't you be able to &quot;talk shop&quot; when people called or emailed for that, or do you include that in your adds. &nbsp; Why make them ask for the price?

I very very rarely will email for a price, and trust me you don't even want me taking up your time If you ask me to make you an offer.

I get calls all the time asking if I would like to buy animals. &nbsp;I ask how much, if they say they don't know I tell them to call back when they do know.

Its the same thing at a show. &nbsp; If its not priced I won't ask. &nbsp;Sometimes I think its way to allow the seller to size up a potential buyer without committing to a price. &nbsp;Hint, never dress up to attened a show of any kind, and don't wear any clothing that will tip your hand as to your level of interest in a particular item. &nbsp; In other words, don't wear your custom embroidered &quot;I'd do anything for a bearded dragon&quot; shirt to the local swap. &nbsp; Its the same reason I don't wear my Green Bay Packers Tshirt when I go to card shows in Chicago, well that and I'd like to get home alive.

Steve, &nbsp;I used to include all my information of my what my Pay Pal account was under in all my adds until that happened. &nbsp; Some one had sent me the money whom had also purchased from me before, and the animal was already spoken for, it all worked out as I just denied payment but still I hate to get peoples hopes up like that for a particular animal. &nbsp; As for you writing me to ask a price or anything else, of course I would want you to write me and ask any question you have. &nbsp; There is nothing more I like to do than &quot;talk shop&quot; about my geckos, actually you might have to tell me to shut up! lol. &nbsp;I try to take time with each and every customer answering all questions and usually asking some too. &nbsp; As a &quot;small breeder&quot; &nbsp;that is a definte advantage I have over large breeders and I tend to accentuate on that ability. &nbsp;Steve my door is open to you, or anyone interested in Reptiles or talking about them... &nbsp;Half the time thats how I learn new interesting things, like wether or not B. marinus has legal aspects..lol (i'm researching now!<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Take care &nbsp; Mike..........
