I am interested in doing a trade with Nick, who emails under the name Christine Smith. I am to ship to a Pet Co in El Cajon, CA where he works. I've asked 3 times for his last name and haven't gotten it yet. I , of course, don't feel comfortable writing C/o just "Nick" on the shipping label. He is to trade me an Albino Limburg Rosy for an Albino pair of Kenyans. Has anyone made a trade or purchase from cheyen4@earthlink.net ; Christine Smith; or Nick?
Please email me with your info.
Thank you so much!

Laura,
Neil is 100% correct!!!!! And it is up to you? But you should post his e mail address. He might be trying the same thing, with someone else!! Right now! With a name other than Nick!!! If he is not trying to pull a scam? Then he can come on here and clear it up. Just my thoughts.

Thanks for your responces. After several attempts, he finally said his last name was Smith. Being rather trusting (a flaw that is most difficult to overcome), I went ahead with the deal because I was sending my snakes to where he works. (I looked his work up online and called to verify he worked there - ergo trusting does not equal stupid - most of the time ) Needless to say, I sat on eggshells and worried the whole time that I was getting scammed. why did I do it? A moment of insanity, I'm sure. :o) A day later his box to me arrived and I thought to myself, "I'm going to open this box and find a cheap nothing snake!" when I opened the box I found myself looking at a very beautiful Limburg albino female. I wasn't scammed at all. I have not fed her yet, I wanted to give her a few days to settle in, plus feeding day is Wednesday. If she eats, I will be very happy with this deal!
I've come to the conclusion that Nick Smith is just not a very talkative or social fellow through the email. I, myself, am very talkative (I'm sure you haven't noticed!. I tell my customers everything under the sun they would want to know, answer any questions I can in as full depth as I can, and email them every month to few months just to check how things are going. So, I'm not used to stilted conversations or people who don't answer questions I ask.
Would I do business with him agian? Maybe. But, I will be extremely uncomfortable because I need to have that breeder-customer connection.

I know Nick Smith. He's got some great boas. He's at all the IRBA shows in San Diego. Used to be called Fork Tongue farms. Now I think he's got a new business name. He's worked as a manager for Petco for years. I've bought from him in the past. Ask San Diego people and they should all know him.
