Sizes?

I'm wondering if anyone can give me feedback on tegu sizes...
I just measured our argentine red male the other day and he's 58 inches long! That seemed a bit, um, monsterish to me...
anyone have any big guys?
btw, he's from the St. Pierres, about 2 1/2 years old.
I'll try to get a photo when he sheds next.

Wow! That's pretty big. As far as I know ( I could be wrong) Arg B&W tegus get up to about 4 1/2'. The color morphs get to about 4' usually. That's a big Tegu.
