caiman problems

So my caiman is losing a lot scales in only two spots on its body. It seems pretty healthy overall. Eats a bunch of different food ( crickets, fish, frogs, and crayfish). It's only 8-9 months old so i thought it might just be that its growing. Any input would be helpful.
