has anyone ever kept rough greens? i ordered one from reptile city and its supposed to be here on june 30. Can anyone give me some advice...i have a terrarium setup and some crickets ready also. Is there anything else i shoyld no about?

As I mentioned in that thread, my advice is not to treat rough green snakes like other snakes [not the typical aspen shavings with a cave and a water bowl]. Treat them more like an anole or chameleon, with plenty of foliage and branches. Wouldn't hurt to have a UV light either.

Since you've commited yourself to an Ophreodrys, give it a naturalistic terrarium with branches and a live philodendron vine. Vary the insect diet. Plan on it being a one season pet; take pictures to remember it, and next season get a corn!
