Possible complications of an enlarged gall bladder?

Would an enlarged gall bladder cause health problems in a snake? Reticulated Python to be exact.

Initially she was brought to the vet for what seemed like a URI but the vet doesn't see anything that supports that theory.
Three weeks ago she had an endoscopy done and everything looked "perfect"(per the vet). That's when they realized her gall bladder was enlarged.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Sorry for so long in answering, but I just realized this forum was here.

How is the snake doing?

Had she been checked for parasites and worms, some are known to penetrate the intestional lining and one of the most common site they set up in is the bile duct. Internal fungal infections can also cause the same effect.
