These little guys are nicknamed Cane frogs, A vendor at the Daytona Expo had them and a freind of ours picked up several and was packing them at our house and they were so funny and relaxed!

Nice marine toads!
Good to see the gloves too....protect the animal and the keeper.
You're gonna need lots of bugs....

OOPS sorry, lol you right they are toads..... sorry I am still laughing at these guys.

They were like molded jello and just so unconcerned they were being handled, you'd think it was natural for them. Being that big, I guess not much stresses them

Plus just about ANYTHING that tries to eat them, dies. Certainly should make them pretty nonchalant about predators!

They are not expensive at all... you can find them for around $25-$30.. but you need to make sure they are legal in your state first

Giant Cane Toads!

Yeah those were introduced to Australia durring the seventies to try and deal with the "Sugar Cane Beetle". The beetles were eating so much of the crops that the government had to do something. Today Cane toads are everywhere in australia and not in a good way. People didn't realize that the cane toad had very few enemies until it was too late and the toads have been breeding non-stop and are are now a harm rather than a help. Today You can find belts, shoes, boots etc,etc
