Just can't get over those "crustacean-crunching" jaws!
For the serious Malaclemys keeper/breeder! Well acclimated and 'pellet-eating'.
Well acclimated means: she looks as good as she does - since captivity in early 2014 - because of the high BRACKISH water she has been maintained in. [ email me about this for explanation, etc. ]
A full 8" SCL on this "Gulf-Coast" Terrapin.

She's just out of her second 'cool-down' season ( since I've had her )..
and has been eating the favorite Aquamax and OSI Shrimp pellets thru-out on a once-a-week basis.

She is from the west Louisiana shores.. but her colors and patterns sure are saying "Texan" - Malaclemys t. littoralis - Diamondback Terrapin.
No claims.. just seeing the characteristics.

She no doubt is carrying 'fertile' eggs.. they just haven't "dropped" down where I can palpate them.. yet.
