View Full Version : A word about subscribing to threads on this site...

This site gives all registered members the capability to subscribe to both threads and forums. In many instances, it is a real good idea for people posting classified ads to subscribe to those ads so they can be alerted when someone posts a reply to it.

However, please pay attention to what the subscription notice is telling you! It is going to do you no good to reply to that notice, because it does NOT go to the person who has replied to your ad! It just goes into the bit bucket for this site and that message you THINK you sent to a prospective customer goes nowhere at all.

So if you get a message similar to this one:

Bear this in mind. This can be frustrating to both you and the person whom you are trying to connect with to make a sale.

Thanks.
