Husky mix, friendly but not "cuddly". Needs a mostly outdoor home (especially for the winter). Does not do well indoors! In PA/NJ area. Willing to meet halfway. Neutered and UTD on all shots (rabies, bordatella, 5 in 1, parvo etc) on Frontline and HartGard.

Danni,

What does he weigh? Does he get along with other dogs? Age?

He weighs just under 90lbs.

He has lived with me and my three dogs for the past year and although he doesn't join in when they play together, he doesn't mind the puppy sleeping on him. Not food or toy aggressive, although he uses his height to his advantage and will simply take bone or chew to another room.

He was born June 1998. Was kept outdoors his whole life, and I adopted him to be a companion to the wolf mix we had been fostering (she was also outdoors only).

In hot temperatures he does prefer the air conditioning.

He is not a hard dog to bathe, although it is easier to do it with him tied outside with a hose than in a bathtub.

One other note, he has some "puppyhood" trauma regarding having his nails clipped, his previous owners cut them MUCH too short when they first got him (he was their first dog) and he now gets very upset when I try to do it. I now just take him to PetCo to get them clipped, he doesn't realize it's happening, and it's only $8 for nails clipped. :)
