After much deliberation we have decided to let go a few pairs of adult Flat-shell turtles. These guys have been in captivity a minimum of 3 months but some up to 6 months or more. I have no way to tell them apart at this time but the point being is they are not fresh imports as in 2 weeks ago or such. I wouldn't call them fully established myself given this species has unique requirements that could quickly make them go from super healthy to very sick. I will be happy to provide husbandry tips and guidelines to confirmed buyers.
They are eating very well almost anything offered but with distinct preference for elephant ears, papaya, mango and Repashy's Banana Cream Pie gel.
This species used to be relatively common but, as with many Indonesian species, this isn't the case anymore. Juvies are usually available here and there but adults are rarely, if ever, available.
Asking $1200/pair plus shipping. Shipping won't be cheap as these guys are heavy and pretty big (especially males).
We will only make available enough pairs to cover our recent expenses due to Hurricane Irma.I will not be providing individual pics of each animal/pair available, the pics on this ad are just representative of the stock and mainly show differences between males and females. I can provide pics of the actual animals you are getting before I pack them for shipping.
