This is a 2017 hatched pair of western Hermann's tortoises (Testudo hermanni hermanni) from our Ragusa, Sicily colony.

They are studbook registered as numbers 2-1308 and 2-1309 and you will publicly see them in the newest edition which is officially being launched in late March 2019.

Ragusa is a beautifully yellow colored, smaller sized Italian Insular form found on Sicily. Our adults are only 4" for males and 5.5" max for females. This is a form that has not been produced much yet at all in the USA as only two of us have them. Read more on my recently updated Testudo species website: by following this direct link: https://www.hermannihaven.com/insular-italy-corsica

The larger animal (one extra scute), born 8/13/2017 is looking male and the smaller one (perfect scutes), born 11/3/2017 is looking female. No guarantees of course. These were intended as holdbacks all this time but we have enough for now, so they can go. They are grown flawlessly and have rock solid shells.

*May also be willing to part with a very limited few other sexable animals from other locales/forms, AFTER these sell first. Inquire.

Priced at $650 each shipped or $1,000 shipped for the pair.
A photo of the father of the younger animal and one of his babies from this year is also pictured below, he is NOT for sale and his babies from this year were already sold.
