my friend is giving me him carpet python and i know all the basics but i wanted to know if any1 had any advice for me because this if my first python but i have taken care of 1 of my friends ball pythons so i know a little about pythons. but dont worry i wont accept the carpet until i know all i need to know first

Please don't take this the wrong way, but what are the basics that you already know? I only ask because, while we both want you to be knowledgeable about your snake before you get it home, I don't want to waste a bunch of time telling you things you already know. Have you searched online for information, including this forum (you might also want to check the arboreal python forum)? How big is the snake? and what will you be housing it in?
