Here is a new link to my Roach and Dragon hobby. I hope that the information will benefit anybody who may be interested in these animals.

I am currenlty working with 5 species of these animals...

Blaptica dubia
Blaberus discoidalis
Blaberus craniifer
Blaberus parabolicus
Blatta lateralis

Nice....I raise the giant cave roach and they make great feed for my Bigger tarantulas, takes about two years to get a colony going but once started they are like rabbits

Thanks, I had heard that the giant cave roach takes a very long time to get going. So far I have chosen the faster reproducing species. I would bet that you are very happy that you are at the freedom stage by producing your own food. :scatter:

I am thinking about a sixth species of roach next. I want my Dragons to have a large variety of flavors. While I have never tasted a roach I am guessing that each species even if from the same genus have a different flavor. Kind of like us eating chicken, quail, duck, or turkey. Or even like trout, salmon, catfish, or bass. Or possibly even crayfish, lobster, crab, or shrimp.
