water snakes with turtles

I have two baby painted turtles and I was wondering if they can live with a water snake. If so could you please tell me the species of the snake. Thanks.

Why would you want to keep water snakes with turtles? They would all be better off alone, or at the least with their own species. If the turtles are small I would not be surprised if they snakes tried to eat them.

Also, if it's the turtles that are larger, they can cause serious harm to the snakes with those sharp beaks. It probably isn't worth the risk.
