I was picking up one of my Rosies and I found out the two adults were mating. The male was not chasing the female around the cage and I thought it was too early in the year for them to be mating. Is there a way to make sure the male's hemipenis is OK?

If the hemipenes has been retracted back into the males body, it should be fine. Is it still hanging out of the body? Or back inside?

I've done the same.
They didn't immediately uncouple, but they were interrupted.

It went right back into his body. I didn't think they'd mate this early in the spring.
