i have some little file snake, Acrochordus granulatus. i've been keeping them in freshwater (tank half-filled) with some mangrove woods for hiding. i feed them feeder guppies. what i want to know is; do these snakes BASK? do i have to use UVB lamps? according to some sources, aquatic snakes (esp. Erpeton tentaculum) do not, or hardly, bask. please enlighten. thanks.
