Tegu swim class

While giving Chompers a bath today he seemed to be VERY comfortable in the water. Are tegu's known to be swimmers in the wild??? He seemed to be a very good swimmer and really seemed to enjoy his time in the tub.

Tegus are very good swimmers. They are known to cross rivers and steams in the wild without hesitation.

I am hurt..........We deserve pics.

Just cover his "personals" LOL

I would have taken pics but I really didn't even think about it. Today was bath day for all the critters and while in the bath they got their enclosures cleaned. I'll be sure to get some pics of the swimming next time, Ginger. :)
