  • Ok to everybody whose wondered where I have been. Last month my stepfather died very unexpectedly, so I was taking care of my mom. Day of the funeral, I came home to my husband leaving me. For the first week or so I was honestly smashed and heartbroken. Shinezilla you are a great friend honey and I love you to pieces. Its a month later and my husband and I are back together, so Im trying to return things back to normal within the house hold. Well thats what I have been up too, so Im back. LOL Later everyone, Andrea
Woman... It's 5am and I'm up making sure the incubator is steadily hitting the right temps.

Luna dropped her eggs at like 3:30- 4am, and she busted an egg so the other eggs were stuck to eachother... I spent a good minute getting the eggs unstuck. I just finished feeding and soaking her...

    I am tired!!!

    ps
    I misseded youz!
    Hey Andrea,
Im doing i guess, this is always the busiest time of the year. I want to spend more time playing and less time working. Especially since i live near the bay.
Thanks, i am waiting for the red silkbacks to start hatching.
Hi andrea sorry i didnt get back to you sooner but alot of personal things. The girls are doing great, eating up a storm and getting bigger every week. The first clutch was infertile so I threw them out. She just had a second clutch on friday night 24 eggs this time but im still not sure if these are fertile. Is it possible for her to have another infertile clutch? I dont see a red spot in them when i candle them. Im so confused on this breeding thing, I didnt want to ever deal with it for this reason. Its so frustrating!!!!!
Well, I didnt know u wake up at 3am.........figured u werent on yet so u must've still been sleeping.....lol
I rate andrea *****(five stars)Great communication,Great shipper(dragons arrived healthy and nice and warm), and a Great Seller!!! Highly recommend this seller to everyone who wants happy and healthy and gorgoeus dragons!!! :)
I think you did the right thing. We hear about Calcium Sand and Walnut hull bedding all the time and its never good.

Sorry I haven't been in touch. We've been super busy here trying to keep up with the shop and everything. Now the wife and I are both working here full time. Its a big job!
It is really difficult to get good pictures, we bought a 700 dollar camera, ughhhh. You can take a lot of pictures in different lighting to see what is the best representation. I still haven't settled on my favorite technique. Trial and error. It is also very important the look better in person than in the picture, similar at the very least.

As for the pricing and inquiries, there are a TON of dragons on the market right now. The wholesale pricing is very low 10-20 bucks for most. Maybe 80-100 for the leathers.
I would try to market locally to pet stores and sell most of the stock, leaving the best 5 of each clutch to sell on the internet.

To be honest, I saw this coming and I feel pretty good that I dont have 100 babies at the moment. Everybody is breeding for money, and it is drying up fast. The best quality dragons still sell, but it takes a little time.

Your smoothies look good, keep the smoothest, since they produce the best quality babies. Bloodbank is down to 150 shipped for leathers???

Quality is the key. Color saturation, and pure morphs will always be in demand.

    Blessings

    Hi Andrea
I am so glad to hear Daphne is looking killer. I kept a few from her clutch myself and I am not surprised to hear she's doing well. Yeah, lots of dragons out there right now, pricing is horrible. We just recently hatched some, but we don't have very many eggs for the fall. We'll pick back up again around Turkey Day. We hatched our first double hets (hypo/trans) and are looking forward to our first leathers at the end of this month.

    Take care

    Jeff
