Yeah. He's a big boy. How's Jerry Lee doing.

He's doing fine, I was able to handle his mate Temperance for the first time the other day. She's beginning to calm down a bit.

Here's a pic from today with me and SweetPea.

And what lesson would that be? Are you advocating the practice of free handling venomous snakes in order to "connect" with the animal?
By posting photos of your "bravado", you are adding fuel to the fire in the battle against our continued ability to keep these fascinating animals. Venomous snakes have been part of my collection for 25 years, however I have never had the urge to pick one up and have never been envenomated. While a bite is always a possibility I prefer to keep the chances of it happening as remote as possible. I say this not to brag, but rather to demonstrate that a healthy dose of caution can significantly reduce a painful and potentially deadly incident.
I seem to recall from a post you made either under your current username or your previous one, where you have been on the receiving end of at least one envenomation in the past. Somehow that doesn't surpise me.

EDIT: A quick search confirmed the above recollection that you have been envenomated.

This thread has a surprisingly disturbing insight into your views on the handling of venomous animals.
