I found a new friend!!! His name is Bill!
So I went to Big Bear (in Southern California, near LA) for a party, and was grilling outside on the patio.
The patio overlooked a hill, and I saw something moving very slightly in the brush... I went and caught it. Meet BILL the California Alligator Lizard!!! Haven't seen one of those in years. Had them all over where I grew up in Cali. Cool critters for sure. Nice bite too, if they feel inclined at the time. LOL
