king snakes?
 

does anyone know of any good areas to go looking for kings in the SF bay area?or near the bay area?id really like to find one but all i find are garter snakes

I dunno about the bay area, but I find them here in the Sacramento Area all the time, along with gophers, garters, and Northern Pacific Rattlesnakes.

Usually around the outskirts of Rancho Cordova.

When your looking for a good spot to herp at, look for spots that have posted no illegal dumping signs. Those spots are a reptile haven.
