Eastern Rat or Corn Snake (Charlotte/Concord NC Area ONLY)

Seeking a young eastern rat or corn snake in the Charlotte or Concord NC Area. I am located in Highland Creek (an area between the two, but closer to Concord). I want to order locally only.

So far I have found corn snakes at a few petcos and one other pet store, but no rat snakes.

I am primarily seeking a melanistic (black), or hypomelanistic & striped or diffused (orange) colored snake. Any other options will still be considered from local sellers/breeders however.

Thank you,
Nicci.

Please reply with images of the available snakes and with prices. If you accept/want trades for other animals (such as anoles) we can discuss that as well.

Hi, I’m located in Harrisburg, which is between Charlotte and Concord.
I’ve got one corn snake for sale, he’s a 2017 extreme reverse okeetee and I have him listed at $125. He’ll be orange with white & red markings as an adult. Very nice quality.

Just FYI a corn snake is a rat snake. They are also called red rat snakes.

I've seen the petco ones and the ones at LPOE. Ive been advised not to buy from petco or petsmart and to look for a breeder.

I'm aware that corn snakes are part of the rat snake family. When it comes to rat snakes, in the sense people typically think of them-as being the rest of the umbrella to choose from, I'm looking for Eastern Rats specifically.

Thanks for the input

Hello, thanks for the reply! I apologize but I am not interested in this snake. I prefer snakes with normal colored eyes. The ones with albinism end up with odd red eyes that would bother the people in my household.

I appreciate the post, however.
