I am wanting to buy a mojave ball python from this website. Has anyone ever bought a ball python from here? I really want the snake as it is a good price and beautiful, but ive never heard of them and cant find anything on the web for them, and i dont want to be scammed. So please any information will be great!!!

I did a search on the email, and found a mention of it from 2003 (selling tarantulas...the reference was to Inland Sea Reptiles - could have been the initial venture, or simply a mistake on the part of the poster).
A search on the name revealed an inquiry (arachnoboards) from 2008, that essentially went unanswered (one member claimed to have done business, but never posted feedback).
A Whois check showed the site registered to Michael Carlton...but searching that name turned up nothing that looked pertinent.

There are any number of assumptions that can be made from these findings...but, unless somebody chimes in with actual experience, I'd consider Inland Sea Exotics an unknown. Being around for 7 yrs, using the same email and the same (or nearly the same) name, and managing to stay totally off the boards is pretty unusual. Not necessarily bad...but out of the norm.

Mike and Anne Carlton are terrific people that take great pride in their animals! Their tarantulas, frogs, and snakes are top notch! I have dealt with them for more than 8 years with no ill dealings. They come highly recommended from me!

It seems like he is a good guy, but when i started asking questions about business, or even to just take a picture of the ball python with a penny and a quarter in the picture he stopped talking to me..so...idk

I just got thru dealing with Michael and had a great experience throughout our transaction. Communication was good and all 3 snakes arrived happy and healthy. Its kinda surprising that nobody is chiming in to give them the credit they deserve but I would do business with them again.

I am waiting for the weather to warm up for some snakes I bought from him. Communication has been excelent, I will post a good guy thread for him when they arrive, if the packaging is good, but based on my emails with him I have no doubt in my mind

Hi, on 03/27/11 I purchased a het red axanthic from Michael Carlton, owner of Inland Sea Exotics. He met me half way so I could pick him up, he is a very nice guy and I have nothing negative to say about him, the snake or the transaction. I wouldn't hesitate dealing with him in the future. i litteraly just got done doing business with him, great guy. if you look on his website he mentions being a primarily wholesale dealer since 94 but just started selling online in 2011. so this is probably why he is fairly unknown, other than that he is very professional and i am completly satisfied by him. chances are he just didnt really need to do alot of online selling, probably did very well at shows or local sales, and only just decided that online would be a good way to go.

I just ordered three red eye tree frogs from Michael and they arrived very healthy and active. He had great communication throughout the transaction and answered all my questions. Everything went very smoothly, I would highly recommend him to anyone.
