HELP!! Western Hognose Passing Light Green Liquids
 

Hello, I’m new to western hognose keeping and I got my boy about three weeks ago. Recently I noticed that he is passing this light green liquid and it alarms me because I have never seen him do that before. There is very little information on this topic and I just wanted to know if this was normal or not. Prior to this happening I had fed him a day before so I was expecting there to be poop, but no poop just a light green liquid. He’s always accepted food from me and he seems very active and healthy so I’m not sure what could be causing this occurrence. I also searched his entire cage for a regurgitated mouse but nothing was found. I just want to know if I should take him to the vet. Thankyou everyone!! First of all you are posting in the classifieds so you will need to post this add in the correct forum. It's probably just bile because the snake may have not been fed in awhile when you purchased it. Some of my snakes will poo with a little green after brumation until they get a mouse or two in them. As long as he has good weight and acts normal i would feed a couple more times and just monitor him and if the green clears up after a feeding or two it's more than likely bile. I would post some pics in the correct forum though and if it don't clear up soon you might need a vet.
