Moving things around in the tank...

... does it stress the geckos?

I love moving everything around in my apartment (drives everyone else crazy)... can I do the same inside the tank from time to time without driving the gecko crazy?

In general, leos are pretty adaptable, but I would say it depends on the individual leo. I wouldn't try rearranging tank furniture for leos that are painfully shy because they need the security of familiar surroundings. But other leos that are more active tend to be fine with change.

I know when I first started out with leos, tank rearrangements were necessary for me to find something that worked. lol New arrangements are also helpful if you want to manipulate where your leo poops. If they poop somewhere that's inconvenient to clean, you can rearrange the tank so they find a new poop spot. But some leos still poop in the same spot regardless of what new furniture fills the spot. :P
