Would you mind giving me a little Info on breeding savs?

There really aren't any good places that I have found, and you seem to know what your doing! [emoji846]

Yeah, sure! What do you need to know? I'm not an expert or anything though.

That's fine! [emoji23]

How large were the parents when bred?

Approximate eggs per clutch?

Double Clutches?

Baby health?

Mother weight loss?

Incubation period?

Is there any temperament change in the parents after breeding?

We're the babies of good weight, and did they feed well immediately?

Sorry! [emoji51]

The parents were about 2.5 years old and about 3 feet long.

My female laid 30 infirtle eggs christmas 2014. She laid a clutch of 42 eggs last june, then double clutched 32 eggs exactly 5 weeks later. She also laid an infirtle clutch of 46 eggs around christmas.

The babies are super healthy and bright eyed. Of the 74 eggs, 63 hatched. The few runty savs didn't make it, and there was an incident where one sav kept grabbing the other's necks and death rolled. So I lost a few that way.

The mom is fairly good sized. (She's bigger than the male) but after laying, she looks like she swallowed a balloon then it suddenly popped.

Incubation was about 180 days if I'm not mistaken...

Not really, the parents act the same.

The babies were tiny little pigs and tong fed basically immediately.
