Quickie Herping Trip to the Swamp
 

I went for a quick trip out to the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area today for about 2 hours. I figured that I would share a few of the pictures since it was a pretty decent 2 hour trip.

Spotted this guy basking in the road. Was pretty long too. My field hook is 45" so my guess is around 59" for the ratsnake.

Pretty good short trip. I talked to a wildlife agent about the area too. Great source of info, so do not forget to chat with those guys if you see them about.

Nice pictures. I plan on being in Maryland in a few weeks. Can't wait to get out there.
