Bamboo
 

Snapped a few pics of some of the bamboo we've got growing around here while I had the camera handy.

I used the camcorder and did a walk around through the bamboo groves the other day. The camcorder had a wide angled lens on it, so it doesn't show the actual size of the bamboo culms very well. But still, gives a better perspective than the still photos are able to do.

Beautiful! I tried growing bamboo, but even here in the midwest, where it gets to zero degrees, it quickly invaded the neighbor's yard. I spent 3 years sneaking over and yanking up shoots as they popped up. If we ever get some acreage, I would love to try again.
