Need Some Iguana Advice
 

I am a avid reptile collector and hopefully a breeder soon. I recently picked up a 4ft female iguana that was being neglected and mistreated. She is very tame and friendly. She is unusually colored though. I am used to seeing green iguanas. She is a very brite pumpkin orange color. Is this a different type of iguana species? Please help me with any advice on her. I have had 3 green iguanas before but never nothing like the beautiful girl.

Your iguana would be easier to identify with photos. I am thinking you may have a Red Iguana.

What you probably have is an Iguana Iguana that is a red color. They are the same Iguana as a Green, but its a morph color. There are also now Albinos as well.
