Dart frogs and Mountain Horned Lizard together?

We decided to move away from a frilled lizard for our new tank because it would get too big, too fast. We are now setting up the tank with a large water feature and waterfall and we are trying to get a list of 'stock' that we are going to put in it.

So far, we have the mountain horned lizard and some small guppies in the 'pond'. We are also considering some type of freshwater crab for cleanup. However, we have really thought about a dart frog or 2. Anyone know if this would be safe with the lizard?

Thanks!

Dart frogs are challenging enough without using them as living props in some mixed species "display".

Mountain horned lizards are typically WC and (even if CB) would be a serious risk of transmitting novel parasites to the immunologically naive frogs.

The habitat requirements for those lizards and darts overlap only in the very slightest.

Thanks for the information! We are getting a CB lizard, but thanks to your advice, we will not be putting any dart frogs into the display.

Anything you would recommend putting in there? We know we will have guppies in the water feature but that is all we have right now.

No. I'm certain that the lizard will do best if it is the only animal in the enclosure.

Thank you! Have a nice night and thanks again for the advice. I grew up keeping snakes and quit awhile back. Decided to get back into reptiles and decided to go the lizard route this time but I know a lot less about lizards than I do about snakes!
