Found some eggs...

For work I go around surveying trees for my city. I came across 4 eggs sitting in a hole in a large ficus tree. I'm pretty sure they are lizard eggs. They are round and really hard. I think it would be cool to incubate them myself and see what I get, but I'm not to sure of the pros and cons. I have no idea what I can hatch out.

They are too small for bird eggs, but too big for normal 'garden lizard' eggs. I doubt it was a snake because it was a bit high and we don't have any arboreal snakes in South Florida.

Interestingly enough, I saw an iguana like lizard here last week, it was about a foot long, bright green, with blue and yellow around the eyes. It too was found in a tree and climbed it. it moved like a chameleon--and jerky and such... any clue what this is?

The main issue though--- Should I keep the eggs?

Thanks
Michael
